Equine Reproduction Course

Delivered by Dr Mina Davies-Morel, this credit-bearing short-course explores a range of topics associated with equine breeding and is delivered by leading experts in veterinary medicine, front line research and industry. 

The course provides students with an in-depth examination of equine reproduction in order to apply key skills, knowledge and understanding to their own horse breeding endeavours. 

The course is fully online and delivered in a flexible, but structured, format which provides students with the opportunity to network, enhance skills and prepare to apply knowledge and understanding to real-life scenarios which can enhance existing professional or amateur equine practice. The course is equivalent to 20 SCQF/10 ECTS credits.

Commencing on 6th January 2025, applications are required by Friday 13th December 2024. This course can be studied as a standalone course.  It can be built on if students do wish to continue to Postgraduate Cert, Dip or full MSc. Applicants will need to complete an online application form, submit qualification certificates/transcripts and one reference. Industry experience or alternatives to science degrees are considered on application.  Applications should be submitted by mid-December each year.  Application link HERE.
