Updated guidelines for the preparation and sale of thoroughbred breeding and young stock at public auction have been published by the Thoroughbred Breeders’ Association (TBA), Irish Thoroughbred Breeders’ Association (ITBA), Goffs, Tattersalls and the Federation of Bloodstock Agents, ahead of the forthcoming yearling sales season.

The Thoroughbred Breeders' Association (TBA) Stud Farm Course held over three days at the BRS. Open to anyone, the course gives breeders, stud staff and enthusiasts the opportunity to learn the latest in stud management from leading experts in the industry. Aimed at those who wish to build upon their own practical experience and knowledge of stud work, the course is a great way to either refresh your knowledge or learn new practice. 

Prominent experts from the bloodstock breeding industry headed up another distinguished line up for the 2024 Gerald Leigh Lectures.

The Thoroughbred Breeders' Association (TBA) has released an updated version of the Bloodstock Tax Guide (May 2024) which is exclusive to TBA Membership.

This helpful document seeks to offer an overview of tax-related challenges that affect breeders, but does not replace specialist advice on particular issues.
