Optimising Youngstock Growth and Development

Prominent experts from the bloodstock breeding industry headed up another distinguished line up for the 2024 Gerald Leigh Lectures.

The theme for this year’s lectures was Optimising Youngstock Growth and Development, and featured lectures from Joe Pagan, Ph.D (Kentucky Equine Research, USA), Professor Jacqui Matthews, FRCVS (Austin Davis Biologics Ltd) and Pascale Chavatte-Palmer Palmer DVM, Ph.D.

Introduced and concluded by Fred Barrelet MRCVS (Rossdales Ltd), the lectures were held at Tattersalls in Newmarket and also featured Dr Rebecca Mouncey, MRCVS, Jullian Dollar (Newsells Park Stud), Abigail Kent, MRCVS (Rossdales Ltd), Paul Overton (Equine Argonomist), Jamie Railton (Jamie Railton Sales Agency),
