Louise Jones

Louise Jones, BSc, MSc, R.Nutr, is one of only a handful of registered equine nutritionists in the UK. As the Head of Equine for Connolly's Redmills, Louise completed her Masters degree in Equine Science in 2000 after qualifying with a BSc (Hons), also in Equine Science with a specialist focus on Breeding Science. After working for Dodson & Horrell for more than a decade, Louise gained an extensive understanding of stud, clinical and performance horse nutrition and has worked with breeders and trainers in the UK, Europe and the Middle East. A member of the BETA feed committee, Louise's main area of interest is how optimal nutrition can influence the equine athlete throughout their life, knowing that practical application of nutritional science can influence both the health and performance of the horse.
