About this course

Each of the five online modules features an introduction to the topic, videos and supported learning options focussing on the following learning outcomes:

  • Understand the core topics of environmental sustainability
  • Recognise how environmental sustainability relates to and impacts the business of breeding
  • Learn new ways of thinking and operating that will make your stud more resilient to a changing climate
  • Understand the relationship between horse welfare and the natural environment
  • Recognise the potential return on investment of making changes in the long term
  • Consider ways in which your stud could benefit from making changes that reward both the environment and your business.

Learners can complete the course module by module, learning from each topic separately, or complete the full course in one sitting.
